Ferrari 312

Lorenzo Bandini made his way into auto racing via motorcycles before moving on to cars and winning in a variety of classic events including the prestigious Mille Miglia and Targa Florio. He joined the Ferrari team for the 1962 and found success in Formula One, having his best season in 1964. For the 1967 season, Bandini teamed with Chris Amon to campaign the Ferrari 312 which had been introduced the previous year. Like so many other drivers of the era, Bandini would make the ultimate sacrifice in motor racing, losing his life at the 1967 Monaco Grand Prix.
