Lotus Elite Type 14

A class winer at LeMans in every year of its manufacture, the Lotus Elite Type 14 was, in many ways, the little sports car that could. Built using stressed skin fiberglass over a metal sub-frame for the engine, the Elite’s drag coefficient was so low, that it was able to wring out sports car like performance from just 75bhp—all of this in the days before cad/cam technology. Truly remarkable.

Limited edition fine art Lotus Elite prints are available for each year it was produced, in all variations, and in your choice of exterior and interior colors. You can further customize your Elite print by adding your choice of accessories including several styles of outside mirrors, wheels and the like.

A Competition Colors version of the 1959 LeMans class winner is also available and is sold as a framed print only featuring color coordinated 4-ply double mat wrapped in an ebonized hardwood frame and finished with a dust backer and hanging hardware installed.

Elite illustrations are available as fine art pigment prints in two sizes—20″ x 16″ or 30″ x 20″, printed on aluminum composite (47″ x 23″ size) or as a dye-sublimated backlit print in sizes up to 14′. Aluminum and fabric prints are special order only.
